Soccer Nova Scotia’s Learning Facilitators (LF) hold a tremendously important role in implementing the delivery of the current Long Term Player Development (LTPD) pathway as well as being the first formal point of contact for coaches in their education journey. They take on the responsibility for training, supporting and developing coaches who are looking to enhance their own individual skills, experience and qualifications through formal certification programs.

Become a Learning Facilitator

Many Clubs have Learning Facilitators (LF) embedded within their Club, making the ability to run Grassroots Coach Education far more accessible. For a Club to apply to have an internal LF, the Club must hold a minimum of MA Level 1 in the Club Licensing Program.

Learning Facilitators can also be trained to service geographical locations of the province. In this instance they will have a responsibility to provide training for a region rather than a Club.
