Provincial Program

The Provincial Program brings together the top performing aged players U13–U16 in Nova Scotia for exposure to a higher level of training and competition.

Through this program, players have the opportunity to represent Team Nova Scotia against teams and provincial programs from other provinces.

The Provincial Program operates in 2 phases:

• Phase 1: ID weekends and Selections
• Phase 2: Team Training and Competition

The Program culminates with a competition for Team Nova Scotia against teams from other provinces.

Through this program, players are identified for further opportunities within the NS Player Pathway

The purpose of the Provincial Program is to provide a competitive environment for players to test themselves against others both inside and outside of the province.

For 2023/2024 season, the Provincial Program will operate at U13 and U14 who will compete at the Atlantic Championships

U15 and U16 players will be a part of the Canada Games Program

Players are selected to attend the training camps through invite-only.

From the camps, a final roster is selected to compete in the tournament/showcase event.

Players are invited to attend the camps by being scouted in the Performance Leagues or through recommendations from Club Technical Directors.
